The LCMS is an extension of LMS. It is a multi user environment in which e learning contents and learning objects can be developed, stored, edited, re-used, delivered and managed. An LCMS is made up of learner administration tools, dynamic delivery interface like interactive whiteboards, learning object repository and content authoring application. A learning object that has been re-engineered for some different purpose or outcome is known as the Mutated Learning Object. Other variation of learning object is the 'Contextual learning object. Both MLO and CLO are associated with LCMS.
